A real snapshot of what I'm actually focused on right now — not my bio, not the highlight reel. This page only ever holds the last three updates; when a new one goes up, the oldest quietly drops off.
I spent the last few months in Asia. Back in Dubai for now.
It's summer — 50°C some days — so I'm forced to lock in and work or learn.
By accident, I took over the software engineering role across my company and projects. The majority of my time is now spent vibecoding.
I'm trading daily. I'm also livestreaming about it daily on X and YouTube.
Recently discovered peptides. Everywhere I've been for the last 10 months, everyone has been talking about them. I looked into it and got hooked on the science behind it. I believe it's the future of medicine — I'm getting the same feeling I had when I discovered Bitcoin.
I haven't tried any peptides myself; I'm learning the science and other people's experiences online.
In 2025, I built my Playtomic rating up to 2.8 in Dubai. Then I went to Spain, lost every game, and dropped down to 1... That sucked, but it pushed me to improve my technique.
Took a few classes. Haven't lost my last 5 matches since.
There's a significant AI improvement or update roughly every two weeks. It's easy to understand this if you're vibecoding, because tools like Codex and Claude can take over your computer — running things, clicking things, and making changes to get tasks done. You have to give consent to that level of control, of course.
But that same power can also be used to destroy you. A bad actor could use AI to run through your computer, wipe out your crypto accounts, steal secrets, and more. I still haven't figured out how our civilization is going to make this safe.
I recently accepted that social media apps are too powerful — WhatsApp included. I stand very little chance fighting against teams of PhD psychologists and engineers doing whatever they can to get me hooked to the screen.
So I now stay away, as much as I can. My response rate to friends, family, and business has dropped, but my sanity is far more important. It makes me a better person and operator.
What is a “now” page?
A now page is a snapshot, not an archive — a short, honest answer to “what are you focused on right now?” This one only ever keeps the latest three updates; when a new one goes up, the oldest one quietly drops off. The idea comes from Derek Sivers' nownownow.com.
